a very solid stay
great location coffee maker sitting area
the hotel sits near queen street gardens, placing it near st andrew's square and the bus station. bus lines 23 and 27 are very close. i booked a double twin executive room. it felt larger than other uk hotel rooms i have used. a tea kettle and coffee maker sat in my room, as did a sitting area.
i found it got very warm in the room. i had trouble sleeping. i think this is because there was no a/c.

i found that the breakfast was enjoyable and of good quality. the hotel offers a varied menu that includes both buffet and à la carte options, something for everyone. you can order breakfast to your specific preferences.

the staff provided really good service . the front desk helped me secure a taxi very early in the morning.
My room lacked air conditioning. I could only adjust the temperature by opening a window.

AMAZING Stay!
great location friendly staff wonderful selection stocked bar
The location was GREAT. I easily walked to the city center. The historical references added to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the warm welcome at reception. Breakfast had a wonderful selection. The bar was well stocked. Prices were reasonable.
My room was in a separate building. Therefore, I had to hand in my key every time I left.

The breakfast buffet featured a satisfying array of warm options. The dining room offered a great view with lots of natural light. The bar has MANY options for drinks, including a variety of local favorites.

the room was clean. the bar had a excellent bar. staff were very polite. breakfast includes good choice.
my room was at the basement. this rooms are very expensive and low value. the communal areas are not so good. no body help me with the luggage.

Solid stay near the city center
convenient location excellent dinner helpful staff spacious room
The location, a short walk from the train station, was convenient. I found the dinner and breakfast at the restaurant to be excellent. Staff assisted with lunch suggestions and received my late luggage (it arrived a couple of days after I did). My ground floor room, though a bit out of the way, was quiet and spacious.
The room did not have a toilet roll holder, or hand gel, and I didn't receive clean towels.

The staff were helpful with local lunch recommendations. They also efficiently managed the reception of my delayed luggage (it was late by a few days). The staff were personable, professional, and helpful .

My ground floor room was spacious, and also quiet. The room was cleaned every day by the housekeeping service (which I appreciated). I did enjoy the comfort and cleanliness of the room I was given.

I enjoyed the excellent dinner and breakfast options at the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious (especially the pancakes!). Drinks were available, and of great quality. The serving staff were very friendly during breakfast.

a step back in time
vintage charm tea selection friendly receptionist
i appreciated the building's vintage charm it was rich with scottish history and a pleasure to explore the provided amenities in the room met all my needs i especially liked the well-appointed space with the tea selection and coffee machine lucille the receptionist provided really good advice and was very friendly
i noticed the absence of fresh fruits during breakfast it would improve the dining experience additionally the bathroom was a bit small

the hotel is situated on a beautiful street designed in georgian style it offers views of a lovely wooded park i found the city center easily accessible with just a short walk of approximately ten minutes. its location in the city is very convenient

the ensuite room was beautiful and very clean it included extras that enhanced my stay the hotel had a cosy lounge where i relaxed i was able to store my clothes in a spacious wardrobe and had access to bathrobes and slippers.
